Hi everyone
I have made a few cards using one of my favourite sheets of digi images from Nicecrane Designs. In fact this was the first ever sheet I purchased from Nicecrane Designs. I love every image on this sheet. The quality of the image is wonderful. I have also ear marked this sheet to make some Christmas presents with this year, especially for my crafting friends. I was thinking…small handmade books, little fabric bags/pouches, some small pictures and maybe a decorated box.
For the first two card I used the adorable prim style digi image of the little girl quilting.
Funny enough, I accidently printed a copy of this image out as an A4 size. (The quality stays the same when you print large copies of these images… Fabulous!) I decided to put the larger printed image to one side for the moment and make it into a picture. I’ve just got to make a nice prim/rustic frame for it. I haven’t told you have I. Freddie bought me a new band saw!!!! Yey! Sorry went off tack there a little. So excited with my new toy you see.
Back to card making, all of these cards have been made the same way. If anyone has any questions please give me a shout.
To make these cards I print the images out, mat and layered them and then made some embellishments using some rubber stamps and dies from my stash.
Ok, before anyone says anything about the amount of pretty paper I have used. I did cut out all of the centres of the pretty paper pieces before I started…..pif….I’m not that generous! lol!
This is the second card using this image
I love the distressed look on these images.
Please click on any of the photos to see the detail.
I have used a die to cut out the clock. I printed four of these images to a page and (my own personal opinion) it is just the right size to fit this clock.
Isn’t this little Pierrot is so cute.
Rather than a banner I wanted to make some little latterns to tie in with the printed image. I tried a few things out but decided that a little tea cup die worked the best. These dies also make great tulips…just an idea and to share.
The expression in this little girls face is fantastic. I could send this card to so many of my friends. This image is such great fun. It would also make fab party invites.
For this card I wanted to give the idea of a stage.
Last card for this post
For the card above I used the tea cup die again to make some embellishments. Really just trying to tie in the tea party theme.

too adorable Florence! These do make such warming, home loving cards! How about the image of the girl quilting used to make a sewing box for a crafty friend?
Hope you are well x
Hi Florence. These are sooo adorable. Your sentiments are spot on too. Love your little tea cups, they seem to be very versatile. One can see that you really love those images, so much care and detail in your cards. 🙂 hugs xxx
Such delightful makes, Florence – they are absolutely enchanting! You’re making me feel very guilty – I’ve not had a working printer so completely stymied on printing any images (or indeed any invoices to get paid for work!) – but hope to be back up and running by the weekend…
