Hi everyone
This is my second post to show case the Nicecrane Designs Digi Images that I have been working with.
Please click on the images to see the detail and if you have any questions on how I made these cards, as always, give me a shout.
I have made embellishments for these cards using stamps and dies from my own stash.
I ran the image through an embossing folder and used a tea cup die and a tag punch (for a tea bag) just to cut parts out of the image . I was quite pleased with the effect created with the embossing folder.
I have used lots of little scrap pieces of pretty papers for this card. Just using browns and neutral colours to match in with the image.
I thought this image would be nice to make Fall Cards. I love the rich colours on this image.
If you missed my recent post, here is the Nicecrane Designs Digital sheet I have working off.
Please click here to see full details of the image and to see all of Nicecrane Designs products. Please remember the prices are in dollars. Just use the price converstion box on the right hand side to change the price to Euros or Pounds.
Another card using the same image and again using pretty papers and card of the colour tones as the main image.
My printer chewed the card stock up as it was feeding through and miss printed just the top of this image. Rather than waste the whole image I made a sort of leaf pelmit to cover up the printer error.
I cut out a piece of card for the pelmit and attached all of the punched out leaves to that. Way easier than trying to attach all of the little fiddly bits to the base card. I then attached my “pelmit” over the image, using foam tape so that it raised it and gives the impression that she is sitting amongst the leaves. Well, that’s what I was trying to achieve!! lol!
Thank you for your company. I hope you enjoyed your visit.
I will be back over the weekend with the last few cards that I have made from this sheet. A little hint of what is coming. Can you see the little girl sitting under the tree, with the moon behind her and the little elves/fairies dancing around…..Such a charming image.
Rita, if you are calling in. Let me know how you get on with the digi sheet. I would love to know and to see what you have made.
If you use Nicecrane Designs products, I would really love to hear from you and to see what you have been making. Please leave a comment on this blog or on Ignacio’s blog HERE with a link to your blog, if you have one, so that I can come a visiting on my little virtual moped!
Tat tar for now. Happy Crafting.
