Card Making – ATS&M challenge 51

Hi everyone

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunny weather.

This week the challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More is “Anything Goes”.  This is always a popular theme.  To see full details of the challenge, the fabulous DT inspirational pieces and to join in the fun please click on the link above.

Here is my little DT offering for this week.

This is another piece from my gelli session.  I used stencils and masks  over the painted background.  The face and the faux metal buttons are made using relief paste and I coloured them with inks. I stamped my post mark and the sentiment and then just added a butterfly…..for no reason whatsoever but I like it!!! LOL!

I used some scrim tape as a mask on the red base card and sponged on some black ink.  I then gave it a quick spray of fixative spray.

Our sponser again for this weeks challenge is Di Digi Downloads.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the challenge last week.  We hope you will join in the fun again this week.

Always great to have your company.  Thank you for calling in.

I have the best blogging friends ever.  Thank you to everyone who has left comments on my recent posts.

Happy Crafting

  1. Wow this is gorgeous Florence. I love the texture and the embossing on the face is genius. I didn’t ‘see’ the face right away. Love it ! Shirleyx

  6. Nice to see you living dangerously and adding a butterfly to your card for no reason whatsoever. Brings a whole knew meaning to living on the edge ! Fabulous card PF your gelli plate background is amazing and then the face peeping out almost like a hologram I love it ! A fabulous piece of art if ever I saw one.
