Ooo La La – Cardmaking with Nicecrane Designs

Hi everyone

What is everyone doing?  Have you got something nice planned for the weekend?  Again I am sitting here with the dilema of craft or house work, house work or craft….what do you think?  Yep, you are right, leave the house work.  I am ashamed to say that I have got into the habit of leaving the vacumme cleaner out and then if anyone visits I just say “I was just in the middle of cleaning”!! LOL!  That is totally true but don’t tell anyone.

I’ve been playing working with some of the new releases from Nicecrane Designs.  When we are given the choice of products to use I normally say I really don’t mind what products I try out, which is true, but when I saw these I wasn’t quite sure.  They are not really my thing but I soon changed my mind when I printed them off.

They print out beautifully even though I did use the cheapest of card stock.  The detail is fabulous.  I think the soft colours really do work with these illustrations.

I took another photo close up so you can have a good look at this image.  They are really pretty and feminine.

It is funny.  I only really see things in shapes and colours but when choosing colours for embellishments and papers for cards I struggle a bit so I rely on the image colours for my inspiration.  I’m not really a pink person but I love the colours in this image.

Just another close up for you see the quality of the printed image.

I have used all sorts of scraps of paper from my stash to make the embellishments.  I wanted to go with a fru fru style on this one. Lots of girly pink and frills.

If you missed my last post, this is the digi sheet I have been working with.

My next projects are using the top left and the bottom right.  I have had a bit of fun with those and you will see when I post those projects.

Thank you for calling in.  I hope you enjoyed your visit.  Always great to have your company.

By the way, if anyone does call in, please feel free to add in the comments what you have been crafting and what is on your blog at the moment.  It is always nice to share with everyone.

Tat tar for now and Happy Crafting.

Have a fantastic weekend.

Florence, oh how I relate as I so struggle trying to use pattern paper, I find it one of the most complex aspects of cardmaking which is possibly why I rarely use it. I was sure it was only me that thought this way!
You used the papers and embellishments to such beautiful effect with those amazingly detailed images from Ignacio.
You are created such beautiful cards with Nicecrane Designs. Ignacio must be so proud to have you on the DT.
