Card Making – ATCAS Challenge 19

Hi everyone

Over at Addicted to CAS  the lovely Sue has chosen “Summer” as the code word.  Sue is also  hosting this weeks challenge.   Your CAS card can be in a clean and simple style and layout of your choosing but has to have a summer theme.  Please remember it does have to be CAS for this challenge.

To see full details of the challenge, the wonderful inspirational pieces by the DT and to join in the fun please click on the link above.

Here is my little DT piece for this week

Summer Time

I used an A5 piece of white card folded in half length ways.

I have gone with mediteranean summer colours for my project.  I stamped the clocks and “summer” onto separate pieces of card and trimmed them down to size.  I then edged these pieces with DIs.  I then attached everything to my base card.   The small blue circles are scap negatives from previous die cutting projects.

Stamps used:  Clocks – Kaizercraft.  The summer stamp is really old and I can’t remember where it is from.  Really informative I know! he he!

This weeks ATCAS challenge is being sponsered by Inspired By Stamping.

Thank you to everyone who played along with glitter challenge.  We hope you will join in with the Summer challenge.

To all of you in column 5, I will see you soon and can’t wait to see your projects.

There is still time for you to join in the ATS&M challenge.  The challenge theme for this week  is “Anything goes” so if you have just made something or are making something at this very moment, why not play a long with the challenge.  Just click on the link and enter your project...yep that easy.  Really friendly and welcoming.   A new theme, as always, will be posted on Wednesday.

If you are new to challenges and are not sure how it all works please feel free to leave a challenge question here in the comments or on the ATS&M challenge blog or the ATCAS challenge blog.

Tat tar for now and happy crafting.

    Hi Florence,
I love this combo of clocks with the ‘Summer’-such a clever idea! The colour combo is also perfect-the distress vintage look of the clocks against the bright Summer colours-great contrast!

  2. Sylvia-Anne

Hello Flo! Love the vibrant colours on this beautiful card, and the Summer Time combination is inspirational (you clever lady)! Simply fabulous!
Have a happy week – hugs, Sylvia xxx

  3. Bonnie

How nice to hear from you, Florence! Love all these clocks and the distressing makes them look like a treasure box of old watches! Very clever use of Summer Time!
