Card Making – Holiday – ATCAS challenge #20

Hi everyone

Hope you are both ok!! lol!

This weeks code word, chosen by yours truly,  over at Addicted to CAS is “Holiday”.  We are asking you to use Holiday as your inspiration for your CAS card.   You can interpret holiday as you wish.  Maybe a summer holiday, colours that remind you of that, a Christmas holiday, sporting holiday, a romantic weekend away…. the list is endless.  Please remember your card has to be CAS – clean and simple.  If you are unsure please check out the rules on the ATCAS challenge blog.

Here is my contribution for Challenge #20

For the challenge this week I have made a quick set of note cards.  My perfect holiday would be some where like Devon in the UK and strolls along the beach in the Autumn collecting drift wood and pebbles.  We can all dream!  Ooooo! I have just thought Devonshire Cream Teas….yummy!!

So, I have gone with a beach theme and used colours of wheathered drift wood and pebbles in my cards.   When I took these photos, the light in the Conservatory was not the best but you get the idea.

I have tied (pardon the pun) all of the cards together by using the postage marks and string.

Just to Share:  Rubber stamps used:  Seagull and Light House are from Chocolate Baroque and the Beach Huts and Postage Marks are from Crafty Individuals.

This week’s sponser of the ATCAS challenge is Delicious Doodles.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a great weekend and happy crafting.

Hi Florence. I LOVE your set of cards. The driftwood and pebbles colors you’ve used definitely remind me of holidays at the beach. I love the soft and subtle colors … so peaceful and calm. I like how you’ve brought them all together using the same colors, with the post marks and twine accents. This set of cards will be a lovely gift for someone special. Loll xx

Wow Florence, these are lovely, you’ve coloured the images beautifully. Long time no see huh, I’ve been such a bad blogger this year, I just haven’t had much motivation for crafting, however this lovely summer we’ve had has recharged the batteries a bit – so hopefully “see you” a bit more often now! xx

These cards are so nice! I love the simple design (first time I’ve heard of it being called CAS though!). I think the first one of the lighthouse is my favourite, but I like the postage stamps on them too 🙂

    1. Florence

Hi Jenny. Thank you so much Jenny. I didn’t know CAS was clean and simple until last year!! lol! There seems to be a need to put names on things. Makes me giggle some times expecially if it is an old idea and it has been renamed 🙂 I shall be over visiting later for a catch up. Pop the kettle on!! he he.
