Card Making ATS&M CAS challenge 59

Hi everyone,

Thank you to everyone who joined in last weeks colour challenge.  We didn’t have as many people entering the challenge as we normally do but the projects that were entered were fantastic.   It was my favourite challenge to date.

Time for a new challenge.  This weeks challenge is Addicted to CAS.  Don’t forget the challenge is also open to anyone using Nicecrane Designs Digi stamps or images.

To see full details of the challenge, the wonderful inspirational projects by the talented DT and to join in the fun please click HERE.

Here is my Cas card for this weeks challenge.

I have used the new twinchies images from Nicecrane Designs which have just been released this month (Aug).  To see full details of this product please click HERE.  Looooove the bold colours!

I thought this image had an oriental feel about it which made me think of those oriental sliding room dividers.  Did anyone every see that really old movie Walk Dont Run?   For some reason that was in my mind when I made this.   Anyway,  with that in mind and the bold black lines around the edge of the butterfly wings all I have done is mat and layered my image onto black card stock and added the two black strips of card.  These strips are just trimmings I found under my paper trimmer…..nothing gets thrown away as you know.

Thank you to Ignacio from Nicecrane Designs for very generously sponsering this weeks challenge.  Do pop over and have a look at all of NcD’s products.  The images are amazing.

We hope you will join in the fun again this week and we can’t wait to see your project.

Suze Bain if you call in, this CAS challenge is perfect for you!!!!  Get back to crafting lol!

Danielle,  safe and happy travels

Tat tar for now and happy crafting.

  3. Gorgeous glowing butterfly – and the CAS framing works brilliantly to showcase him. I’ve got lots of catching up to do, I know… looking forward to seeing what else you’ve been doing.

  4. this is stunning. I hadn’t seen these images and they really are lovely. I like the soft background against the strong colours of the butterfly. And I really like the way you have made the rest of the card really CAS so we focus on the butterfly (haven’t seen that film!) x
