It has been sooooo long…..

Hi to anyone who may call in.

It has been so long since I have made any cards, crafted or posted anything for that matter.  My lovely friend Marie from Bailey Rosy Blog has been encouraging me to get back to blogging.  Personally I think she has only done it so she can tease me.

I would like to say though, I will always have the last laugh, because most days I go around and leave messages and comments everywhere that I can, all over the internet, with Marie’s name on them…..she has no idea where they are.

Anyway back to crafting. I made these cards recently and would like to share them with the girls at Addicted to Stamps and More.  This weeks challenge is “Anything goes”.  The DT as always, have made some fantastic inspiration pieces.  Sending hugs to Kylie.  I hope the move is going well and that you are not all working too hard

This is the card I am entering into the challenge.

I rubber stamped the distressed pattern onto white mat card using “old paper” coloured DIs and then I stamped the rose and sentiment over that using brown archival ink.  I quite like how the distressed pattern shows through.

Stamps used on both cards: Chocolate Baroque.

I rubber stamped the poppy image onto some pretty papers using archival ink and then coloured the poppies in using kids crayons.

I rushed this a little bit.  I saw a little girls dress on Pinterest.  It was black and white and had chevrons on.  That is what I was going for but as you can see no chevrons and really doesn’t look like the dress at all!! lol!  Will give that one another go when I have more time.

If anyone would like to see the dress I am talking about please click here

Well that’s it from me for today.  If you do call in and say Hi, please feel free to add in the comments what is on your crafty blog at the moment.  It’s always nice to share.

Take care and happy crafting.

  1. I was wandering why I have lost most of my followers and now I know, goodness knows what you have been saying and using my ” good ” name to say it !!!! Despite that I’m so happy to see you blogging and being your usual cheeky self. I do hope this is not a one off appearance as I do so miss you . Two gorgeous cards and those CB stamps are superb both beautifully colored, you are an absolute whizz with those kids crayons.
