Hi everyone
This week’s challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More is “Holidays”. To see full details of the challenge and the wonderful inspirational pieces by the DT, please click on the link above.
With Holiday in mind I am thinking maybe California and the Napa Valley. Hot sunny days and warm evenings just sitting sipping wine, with smells of wild jasmine in the air and listening to some soulful music. Oh yer, I could just about cope with that at the moment…… if I was forced to!! lol!
All I have done for this card is to stamp my image onto a book page, coloured it with kids crayons and then gave it a quick spray of fixative. I then just mat and layered my card using some pretty papers and card stock. Stamp used: Chocolate Baroque.
Thank you for stopping by.
Always great to have your company.
Happy crafting.

Lovely card, Florence, and I really like the crayon colors. I need to work with those more, as I’m still considering which medium to use to illustrate my children’s series.
I like the way you turned the page on its side so that the text is vertical. This position echos the composition of the stamp image.
Blessings for a glorious day,
Marianne

I tend to shy away from pattern paper as I find it such a skill to co-ordinate, not you, that touch of paper could not be more perfect and you certainly captured a sense of lazy days under the sun.
BTW beautifully coloured with the crayons, you achieved the shading so amazingly well. Proves that fancy products aren’t always required.
Make mine a cranberry and I will come join you in the Valley!!!

Absolutely love this holiday scene over the book text – gorgeous colouring. It looks like Tuscany to me, but then I’ve never been to Napa Valley!
