A little birdy told me – stamping with paint

Hi everyone

Today I would like to share a #card I made to go with this wooden bird plaque.  I used the same stamps and really made this card in the same way as the plaque minus the tile grout.

FloLangleyBirds018AT2I applied some blue and green (water based) craft paint to my stamp using a bathroom sponge and stamped onto my card stock.

I then colored the image with watered down craft paint and mat and layered as seen.

Stamps used  – Chocolate Baroque Woodland Dreams.

Thank you to everyone for kindly leaving comments on my last post.  They are very much appreciated.

Before I go today I would like to wish Marie a very happy 60th Birthday!!  You love me really.

Happy Crafting

Holy WOW, Florence. This card is…. WOW. There is so much to this image. Is it one large stamp or have you used several? Whatever you did, I love it xx

Hi Kylie, Sorry for the delay. Our visitor has arrived safely so you can imagine everything is a bit hectic at the moment. The stamp is just one stamp it is quite a big stamp 13 cm x 14 cm. Fabulous size for crafty projects as well as cards. It is part of an A4 sheet of stamps from CB.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments.
      Hugs, Flo xx

The colors are brilliant, Florence, and I love the scene. I also like how your images extend outside the margins….beautiful!
