Snowman Christmas Card

Hi everyone

I hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Today I would like to share a card made using one of the new Christmas Stamp sets from Chocolate Baroque.  I have to say they have excelled themselves with these stamps.  I have been using CB stamps for many, many years but I have to say these are some of my favourite Christmas stamps ever!!

This is the first of many posts using the new stamps.  To be honest I loved using them so much I got carried away and made up lots of samples.

I have used the Snowman and Snowflakes are from the Snowy Penguin Set and and the baubles from the Santa Baby Set.

This is a pretty straightforward card and has been made up as seen starting with the base layer (purple dots) and then just building it up.

For my main focal piece I stamped the Snowman onto white card.  I stamped him again onto some pretty papers and paper pieced his hat and scarf and added a little color around the edges.  I added some Distress Ink around the outside edges and then stamped over that with some snowflakes.

I stamped the baubles, added a bit a of color to the edges and then fussy cut them out.  They are a really nice size these baubles.  Great for embellishments.

I hope you like my little offering today. If you have any questions please give me a shout in the comments box.

Thank you to my blogging friends for your kind words and comments left on my last post.

Take care

Florence x

  1. Ohh Florence!! This is spectacular! I love the snowman (he’s so sweet – what’s not to love?!), am in awe of your skilfull blending around the edges of the card, and the stamped snowflakes just bring the whole central focus of the card together. But … my very most favourite bit of this card .. is the addition of those incredible ‘hanging’ baubles along the top. They take the whole card a step up and away from anything anyone else might have made.

Not just a mere card, but a piece of art. All down to your vision and your talented and crafty brain. WTG, my fabulous, blogtastic, friend. ~ Cobs. x
