Hi everyone
Today I would like to share a card made for the Chocolate Baroque Color Challenge. For full details of this months challenge, to see the fabulous inspirational pieces by the team and to join in the fun please click on the link above.
Here is my little offering
I started this card by making a background (as seen below) and I was going to layer it up but I quite liked the background and wanted to show more of it on the card so I cut a little aperture and placed my stamped focal piece behind it.
For the insert I stamped the gentle man and colored him with Distress Ink. To bring it all together I stamped the wording around the edges.
This is a copy of the stamped background for information only. Please do not copy it or reproduce it electronically. Chocolate Baroque Angel Policy can be seen here.
For my background piece I used one of my own Time 8 background papers and painted it, using craft paint, yellow and green as seen. You can just see some of the “Time” words and the figure “8” under the paint.
I then stamped the clocks with paint to give a very faint impression and stamped the script using ink and just part of the script stamp from this set.
To finish off I used a stencil and paint to make the fancy chicken wire pattern.
The card was made up as seen with the addition of the ink and quill pen die cut which I attached using foam pads.
Chocolate Baroque Stamps used: Eccentric Edwardian.
Thank you for looking
Happy Stamping
