Hi everyone
Today I would like to share a Valentine’s Cards.
I quite like pretty Valentines Cards…probably edging towards a vintage style if I am honest but for this card I wanted something simple in style that may be used for the men folk.
I also wanted to use cut out shapes on this card but not ones that have been cut out on a die cutting machine. The machines are great but not everyone has one.
Apologies for the shadows on this photograph. I did um and are whether to change it but I think it shows the depth a little better with them in.
I stamped my heart and fussy cut around it.
I ran the blade of a craft knife just around the edge of the heart, not to distress it, but to just curl it over.
I then cut two panels, one in white card and one in pretty paper as seen above.
I cut a half circle shape in each piece just large enough for the heart to fit in.
I then made up the card as seen attaching the pieces with foam tabs and adding a bit of bling to the bottom left hand corner to balance the flowers at the top.
