This is so pretty, Florence! Wouldn’t it make a lovely bookmark, too? I love using pretty cards to mark my place while reading. Do you mind telling me what your card base was. For example, did you use watercolor paper? I’ve been most recently using a stiff watercolor paper for my tags and cards. I really need to get some gesso!

May you be in good health and blessed,
    Marianne xo

Hi Marianne, The card base I used is a white 350 grm card with a slightly rough surface. I bought it in an end of line sale in bulk so it had no information with it. If you haven’t got any Gesso, household emulsion works. If you are finding your card stock buckles try applying the paint with either a dry brush or a sponge. This cuts down the moisture and reduces the buckling. I also use a 300 grm Lazer printer card which comes in reams of 250 – 300 sheets. I find this works great with Gesso and works out economical. Hope this info is of use.
      Take care, Florence x

Wow, so gorgeous! Love the way the colours are a little pale and the sentiment is a great one! Hope you have a fun weekend planned…Hugs, Gerrina
