Christmas CAS Card

Hi everyone

Well, I got up this morning and we have cloud…yes, lovely, lovely cloud.  I never thought that something so simple would be so wonderful!
For the past week the temperature has been in the 40’s.  It is normally hot this time of year but nothing like this.

So it does seem quite strange that my card today is a Christmas card!

I have been playing with the new stamps from Chocolate Baroque.

Florence Langley August 15 Christmas 2 009awmFor this card I stamped in Archival Ink onto Coated Card Stock and just colored with felt pens.  Really quick and easy.

Chocolate Baroque Stamps Used: Christmas Candlelight.

I am a bit quick off the mark with the new stamps but I spotted that this weeks challenge over at the Craft Barn is CAS and I thought it would be fun to join in.
The Craft Barn Challenge can be seen HERE.

Thank you for looking.
Happy Stamping

  1. Good Morning Florence, I’m laughing at your cloud, I got up this morning and there was no sky, it was cloud covered. But gosh that seems awfully hot, couldn’t bare that.
Anyway, your card is gorgeous, what a beautiful stamp and gorgeous design, hugs Kate x

  2. Good Morning, Florence…when I first read that your temps were in the 40s, I’m thinking wow that’s nice…since I’m living in the Fahrenheit world, then I realized you most likely mean Celsius so I went to a conversion chart and wowy-kazowy!!! You’re hot over there just like we are here in Texas USA. So your 40 Celsius is about 104 Fahrenheit. Our temperatures here are about 38.3 Celsius and so our feel like temperatures are about 43 Celsius. I feel you!!!

Your Christmas card is lovely and a nice reminder of cooler weather. I love the little bit of red with the blue and green. It looks prettily vintage. Stay cool, my friend, and may we have an early autumn!

    Love and hugs,

    • Hi Marianne, I did think of you over in Texas when I was writing this blog. We only have a couple of more weeks and then Autumn will come and the temperature will certainly drop. Would you believe we have snow in December and it can drop to -10!!!
      Take care,
      Hugs Flo xx
