Hi everyone
I hope you are all well and life is being kind to you.
Today I would like to share a card made using the new Christmas by Candlelight from Chocolate Baroque.
I never used to like candles on Christmas cards as a child but as I have got older and everything has become more commercialised there is something very romantic, nostalgic and traditional about candles at Christmas.
Here is my card.
Stamp the images with Distress Ink.
Take damp paint brush and drag some of the color from the stamped lines to color the image.
Dilute some distress ink or felt pen ink with water and color the image to give a soft water color look.
Drop some lemon juice onto the card stock and heat with a craft heat gun to give it an aged look. This is a really old technique from back in the day before distress inks or other products were available.
Stamp the sentiment using Archival Ink.
Take a stencil and using some Distress Ink and a sponge create the circle patterns.
Make up the card as seen.

Florence, this card is absolutely gorgeous, elegant, and perfectly stunning!!! I love it. I particularly love the softness of the colors…that drew me in first, as it lends so perfectly to candle light…then I noticed all the beautiful detail to composition – the circles and drops. So, so beautiful! Thank you for sharing, my friend.
Well, back to organizing for the move. May your day be full of love,
