Pick up a Penguin – Card

Hi everyone

This is a really quick post because I want to join in this weeks Craft Barn Challenge.  The theme this week is stencils/masks.

Florence Langley Penguin Card Sept 2015 001AWM
These little guys are so cute.  I have only just purchased this stamp and I already love it.

Basically, all I have done to make this card is to stamp the penguins and placed a paper mask over them.
I colored the background with distress inks.
I then placed a stencil over the whole piece and applied more ink, using the same colors, to create the pattern.
Leaving the paper mask on the penguins, I stamped the script….bit wonky but I am not going to loose any sleep over it.
I then just added the sentiment.

Crafty Individuals stamps used:
CI Alice Palace Penguins CI 392
Uplifting Words CI 258
Word and Wishes CI 438

Thank you for looking

The penguins are so cute! I must admit they’ve been growing on me and I might succumb soon… Love your background in bright colours.
