A Murderous Affair – Card Making

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well
I am a little behind in blogging this week.  I would just like to thank you all for your visits and for the comments left on my recent posts.  It is always lovely to hear from you.

Today I would like to share a card that I am linking to the Crafty Individuals Challenge “Anything Goes”.  To see full details of the challenge and to join in the fun please click on the link above.

Flo Langley CI Sep Chal Hallween 007AWM3Crafty Individuals Stamps used:

Abbeys and Arches CI 286
The Crow CI 319
The Crow Plate multi elements CI 361

The main background piece.

I stamped the Abbeys and Arches onto white coated card stock using a dye based ink. The detail from this stamp is fabulous.
I used a piece of copier paper to mask off the stamped image and used a stencil mask and Distress Inks to create the yellow pattern on the same piece of coated card stock.
I then stamped the barbed wire and the script using Black Staz-On Ink.
I used a piece of torn copier paper and Distress Ink to create the blackish boarder around the outside.
I mounted this piece onto a piece of black card stock.

The crow topper

Using a stencil and Distress Ink I colored and created a pattern on a smaller piece of yellow card.
I then stamped the Church and Crow image using black Archival Ink.
I added some highlights and shadows on the Church and the Crow using a damp paint brush and felt pen ink and trimmed the piece to size.
I then made up the card as seen.

Thank you for looking

Have a great weekend.

Florence x
