Morning everyone
I hope you are all well.
Today I would like to share another simple card again with some over stamping instead of embellishments or extra layers. This time I have used Seedless Preserves Distress Ink to stamp the image.
The sentiment and snowflakes have been stamped in black Archival Ink.
If I am honest, which I am, I used a new DI ink pad and it is a bit juicy. I over inked the stamp a little and stamped onto coated card stock therefore I lost some of the fine detail around the eyes. What I should have done is taken some of the ink off with the old ink pad. Having said that I like the colors and wanted to share this card with you to show what this image looks like in plum.

So lovely – with an image that intricate, the simple stamping is perfect, and I love the snowflakes and word in black – so effective.

Gorgeous colours Florence, and the simplicity of the card makes it striking, Kate x

I do like you monochromatic cards, very effective.
Been having a lovely wander around all your gorgeous cards, Flo … it’s been a while, so there were many to enjoy … they’re all wonderful! In particular, I was taken with this bold Santa, he’s such a lovely image … the wintery trees with the fabulous sky … and that awesome richly coloured and decorated folk style Christmas tree! Think I need to come round more often for a good dose of inspiration! Hugs, Anita 🙂
