Easter Card – Bunnies and Blue Tits

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well.
Thank you everyone for commenting on my last post.

I have been completely caught off guard this year.  Firstly, I missed mothers day.  Luckily I saw my friend Kate mentioning it in one of her posts so I quickly sent a card to my Mum electronically!!  I also thought that Easter was in April some time.  Luckily Jean let me know when it was.  Ok, it is Tuesday today….right!!  See what happens when you have no tv or see anyone for ages to tell you what day it is.

Anyway, because I am a bit behind in my crafting I have made some quick Easter cards this year.  This is one of them.

Florence Langley Easter Cards 011awmSm5

To save time, but still be a little bit crafty, I added some paint circles to the background paper.  To make the circles I used a bottle top and for the double circle I used the plastic center from a sticky tape holder from my stash.  I knew it would come in one day 🙂
If anyone has any questions on how I made this card, please give me a shout using the comments box below the post.

Crafty Individuals stamps used:

Feathered Friends CI 416
Crowned Bunnies (Alice Palace) CI 372
Background Papers Book 8 Weekend In Seville

That’s all from me today

Take care,

Flo xx

Hi Valory, You know we are half way through March and I don’t know where the time has gone! Days just seem to merge in to weeks so quickly. Thank you for sparing the time to call in. Always lovely to hear from you.

Hello Florence, I think that time seems to go so quickly and we are all so busy these days that it’s so easy to loose the plot a bit. I put mine down to now not working and being in a routine, anyway, pleased you got a card off to your mum, thank goodness for Ecards though.

Now this is just lovely, gorgeous colour theme and the images are beautiful. I wonder why a bunny would wear a crown though? Take care, Kate x

Hi Kate, I got so much more done when I worked. I even went to the gym and had weekends away. Now I pat myself on the back if I empty the dishwasher….Sadly that is completely true 🙂 The bunny is king of Chocolate hence the crown!! he he. Thank you for calling in.

What a beauty this one! Love that all the colours are in the mean images and background! And cirkles; I love them! They really add so much extra!
I know what the difference is if you change your routine; went from outdoor-work to working and studying home and had to find some kind of a routine again. I feel more free while I can do things when I want to do them, but have to be on the watch to let the day slip by and me trying to catch up on the things I have to do later…:)
The crafting is something I need to get unwinded from all the work with my head; it helps to clear it…
It takes a little time, but just like the time you started school or got working a routine/ritme in your days will come back!
In the mean time enjoy the little things! Hugs, Gerrina

I always miss all of the British holidays especially the likes of mother/fathers day cant keep up with both countries. Easter is 1st of May here very late this year but better so I can go swimming. Your card is beautiful I love the colour composition and your use of the bits and bobs from your desk just stunning.

No worries about what you say in this post Florence, I must confess that I”m like you, very often being late for any kind of good wishes or celebration, also on my blog always! 🙂
