Perfume Bottle themed Card

Hi everyone

I hope your week has started well.

Thank you to everyone for your recent comments on my blogs.  You are always so kind and generous with your time.  It is truly appreciated.

I have finished all of my job and just waiting for Andy Murray to come on at Wimbledon.
Whilst I am waiting I would like to share a quick card.  This is another card found in my files.  I made a lot of quick simple card samples a few months ago.  I took photos of some of the finished cards and filed them away.

Crafty Individuals stamps used:

Vintage Perfumery CI 341
Flower Heads 2 CI 445

I used an embossing folder to created the patterned boarders on the outside edges of a piece of white card.
I cut two bottles shapes out, one from card and one from pretty papers and glued them together.
For the bottle shape I used a free template which can be found HERE.
I slightly altered the template at the top so that I could wrap the ribbon around the top of the bottle and it lay flat.

I stamped the perfume label and the flower head, coloured the images and cut them out.
I wrapped a piece of ribbon around the top of the bottle.
I then assembled the card as seen above using foam tabs to attach the pieces.

Just to share:  If you are new to Crafty Individuals stamps do check out their Pinterest pin boardsJean has been busy pinning team projects from her own blog and also projects made by Crafty Individuals customers from around blog land.
Grab a cuppa and have a nosy.  Lots of lovely inspiration.

The current challenge over on the Crafty Individuals blog can be seen here.

Thank you for looking

Take care,

Flo x

That’s delightful. What a lovely idea to use the patterned paper to create the bottle. I’m a Federer fan myself… would so love him to win one final Wimbledon, but I think it’s probably wishful thinking!
Sorry to have missed so much – it’s a crazy year. Hope all is well with you and the chickens!

Ooh I think I might have this label stamp, somewhere…or something similar. Might have to go hunting for it! I love anything with labels/old advertising so this card pleases me no end. I love your fresh colour scheme too. Will also be watching the tennis. Fingers crossed!

Hi Florence, what a gorgeous card, love the bottle made from that pretty paper and the ribbon around the neck really finishes it off.,wonderful layout too.
Can’t stand tennis myself, bores me to distraction, however will watch Andy if he is in the final, because he’s Scots of course. I’m just not a sporty person, unless it’s horse jumping or dressage. Hope you are having a great day watching the tennis, Kate x
