The Cheerful Duck – Card Making

Good afternoon everyone

I hope you are all well.
Thank you to everyone for your visits and for leaving comments on my last post.  Sending you all big crafty hugs.

I have just finished most of my jobs for today, including all of the ironing, even though the temperature is 38 at the moment……..”I have had a good day”.

Today I would like to share a card that I made indulging my love of bright colours.

Flo Langley CI Bumper pk July 2016 Cards 091AWMSmall

I coloured a piece of coated card stock with Distress Inks and then stamped my images using black staz-on.  I stamped the sentiment and little duck onto white card, coloured the duck and cut the pieces out.  To  fix the inks I gave it a quick spray of fixative.
Tip: When fixing inks do be careful that the fixative is compatible with the inks you are using to stamp with.  Some fixatives can cause the ink to dissolve a little and blow out.

Crafty Individuals Stamps Used:

Alice Palace Fine Day CI 380
Better Than A Princess CI 444 (alphabet boarder)
Words and Wishes CI 438

Thanks for looking

Take care

Flo x

I love that goose Florence and the brightly coloured corrugated type background stands out beautifully, and the colours on the topper work and complement the background perfectly. A real rainbow of colours. x
