I hope you are all well.
Thank you to you lovely ladies who left comments on my last post.
It is very much appreciated.
Well, oh my goodness, Crafty Individuals have just released their new stamps. I opened the packet when they arrived and knew immediately that some of my blogging friends will really like them. I have only had a little play with them because of other things going on at home at the moment but I have already fallen in love with them. Normally, I have to be honest, I like to spend time having a play with new stamps to find out what they will do and for me to gell with them but with these new stamps it was immediate.
Here is a quick little card using just one of the new stamps sets.
Crafty Individuals Stamps used: Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses CI 459
I patted some Distress inks onto an acrylic block, spritzed it with water and then swished a piece of coated card stock around in the diluted ink.
Using the colours on the background as a guide I inked up my script stamp with similar colours of Distress Ink and stamped the image.
I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background piece using black Staz-on.
I stamped the little boy onto coated cardstock using black Staz-on, coloured him in and then cut him out.
To fix the inks I gave the background and little boy piece a quick spray of a fixative.
The photo doesn’t show it very well but I did decoupage the little bucket.
I made the card up as seen using glue to attach the torn paper piece and foam tabs to attach the little boy image….he is so adorable!
