Little Finch – Card Making With Crafty Individuals new stamps

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well and enjoying the week so far.

A huge thank you to my lovely blogging friends for your comments on my last post.

Another quick post as I am getting ready to go to the airport to pick up the crazy Aussies, Kylie and her mum, who are descending on us for a week.

Before I go into the details of the card, if you haven’t already left a comment on the Jean’s Crafty Individuals blog HERE, do pop over and leave a comment.  There are goodies up for grabs.  I know a lot of you already have….I checked to make sure… I didn’t want you to miss out on a chance to win 🙂  Good luck everyone.

For this card I have used Crafty Individuals’ new stamp Sweet Robin Redbreast.  I adore this stamp and looking at the comments on the CI blog, I am not alone.  Although it is a Robin, it is such a lovely bird shape so I am thinking it can be any bird you wish.  I used it as a pretty little spring time finch for this project.  I liked using the word “discovery” because it can then become a card for Retirements, Bon Voyage, or Happy New Home and not just for birthdays.

As I am typing this post I am thinking this bird would be ideal for journaling, ATCs, mixed media projects….lots of uses.

Just to share, the new stamps are at an introductory offer price at the moment and they can all be seen HERE.   Do check out the sizes. There is a lot of stamp in the sets.  Can you tell I am excited about them!!!  🙂

Crafty Individuals stamps used:

Sweet Robin Redbreast CI 456
Tree Trio CI 453
Voyage of Discovery (just using the sentiment) CI 295

Thank you for looking,

Take care everyone
