Home Sweet Home Cards – 4 Variations using the same stamp

Hi everyone

I hope you have all had a great weekend.

Today, I would like to share 4 cards, that I have made recently, using the same stamp.  The main stamp that I have used on all of these cards is another new release from Crafty Individuals.

Card 2

Card 3

Card 4

For all of these cards, I stamped the image several times.  I used one stamped image as the base and then cut out and coloured sections from the others which have been attached with foam tabs to give them a little bit of a 3D effect.

I tried to use similar colours from the background papers to colour the images.  I found this a lot easier than colouring the image and then trying to match up papers.

Crafty Individuals Stamps Used:

Home Sweet Home CI 458
Butterfly Pairs CI 437  (card 1)

Thank you for looking

Have a wonderful creative week.

  1. Wonderful cards. Isn’t it amazing exactly how much colour has an influence on a design. They all look so completely different, just through colour. Clever you x

  2. Hello Florence.
I love that you’ve done exactly the same card, in four different colour ways. The changes in colour give each card a totally different ‘feel’. Where-as one colourway may suit your great aunt, another colour would be perfect for the lady executive boss at work. One for your best friend, and the last one for a neighbour who’s birthday it is. And yet … you’ve made the exact same card – just different colours. It makes each card work for each person the card is destined for.

It also give different images a chance to stand in their own spotlight.
Love them. All. Can’t pick a favourite. They’re all truly lovely.

  3. It’s a super stamp, and it’s lovely to see how you put it through its paces! It won’t come as a surprise that the final neutral one is probably my personal favourite!
