Natures Beauty – 4 cards

Hi everyone

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

Thank you to everyone for your lovely comments and kind words on my previous posts.

Today I would like to share some more Nature’s Beauty cards for a birthday, retirement or for any occasion.

I have so many cards made up I decided to do another multi card post.  It is also a great way to show the different variations achievable with this lovely stamp.

Crafty Individuals Stamp Used:
Natures Beauty CI 452

Card 1

I found this background paper in my stash. It is quite pretty with the soft sketches on it so I decided to colour the stamped images in shades of grey.  I used a mix of diluted light grey and brown Distress Inks to colour the image.

Card 2

Stamped with dark blue Distress Ink onto Coated Card stock.
The flowers and butterfly have been decoupaged.
I do like the blue and white.  It has a nice fresh feel to it.

Card 3

The background to this topper was swished in diluted Distress Ink.
The colours of the ink were chosen to correspond with the CI pretty background papers.
The image was then stamped using Staz-On.

Card 4

This card was made in the same way as the 3rd card but this time I used a sentiment instead of a ribbon and different mat and layer colours.

Coated card stock was used for all of the toppers and the inks were then set with a light spray of  fixative.

I mentioned in a previous post, with a similar card to these, about adding Wellies to the image as an embellishment but looking at the background paper on the first card I am thinking a bird box or a bird embellishment would also work great.  You know, the options for embellishments are endless with this stamp.

Thank you to the lovely Cobs from Cobweborium Emporium for kindly sharing the information about Wellie dies in the comments on my previous post.

Have a great week everyone

Take care

Flo x

  3. Well this selection was one I’ve had to pour over, and over, and over, to get it down to my very most favourite.
I love them all … but if I was stood at your craft stall, with only enough money left to buy just the one, after much deliberation I finally tied it down and I’d buy … the all blue tones one.

There’s something about that one which captured my heart and wouldn’t let it go. (But it really was a difficult choice because they’re all so beautifully made and all ‘spoke’ to me in my language).

    ALL Really FABULOUS cards Flo.

    1. Hi Flo … Happy Wednesday!
the card ‘GIVEAWAY’ over on my blog ends later today. You mentioned the key word, but were worried about postal costs to me. I’m happy to post this card to whoever wins, where-ever they are, – but didn’t know if I was to include you as one of the ‘numbers’ in the Random Number Generator or no. I truthfully won’t mind which ever you choose. I’ll love you anyway my beautiful friend. Just let me know if I should add you.
      Sending squidges ~ Cobs. x
