A Quacking Great Time – 3 Cards

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well.
This is a quick post to share some cards made using one of the fabulous Alice Palace Stamps from crafty Individuals.

Card 1

The Chorus Line

I treated myself to some more of the Alice Palace stamp sets earlier this year.  I fell in love with this duck as soon as I started to use it.

Card 2

The image is a lot more versatile than I had first thought.  It is really easy to mask off the image and add backgrounds

I also thought it would be nice to cut away the sentiment from the stamped image and it could be used for a “Bon Voyage” card.

Card 3

The duck also can be cut away and used on its own as shown on card 1 or just decoupaged as shown on the card 3 above.  Can you tell I am a happy stamper!

Crafty Individuals Stamps Used:

Jolly Duck (Alice Palace Range) CI 433
Fine Day (stars from the Alice Palace goose stamp) CI 380
Spring Time Music (card 1) CI 194
1893 Script (card 2) CI 214

Just to share, Crafty Individuals current challenge “CAS” can be seen HERE

Thank you for looking

Take care,

Flo x

  1. These are what I call ‘ticklish’. They give me an inner giggle, and an outward smile.

You know that ‘look’ people get when they’ve got a secret and they’re thinking about it? That sort of almost gormless smile which spreads slowly across their face? Well that’s what these cards have done to me. I’m even aware that I’m sat here tapping this comment out to you, and smiling a big smile which is totally reaching my eyes.

I LOVE these cards Flo. They have an inbuilt smile which works for the card and would make someone reach out to buy. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM.

  2. Another fabulous trio, marvelous!!!!
We can see well how an happy stamper you are Flo! 😀
I’m sad, because I had not time really this month to play with all my beloved CI stamps and inks or paints to create a bunch of C&S cards as I would have loved to…
Even more sad since it would be useful for me now to have a little stock of them, to send to friends or to have under the hand to show as samples of techniques.
Well, I think I have progress to achieve to be more efficient and quick in the future! 🙂
Have a lovely day, many hugs.
    Coco xx

  3. What fun designs Florence, these are quacking good cards….sorry I couldn’t resist that! I particularly love the first with the chorus line and the music in the background with such gorgeous colours but they are all fabulous. I love the stencilling and the cute little stars, and some more pretty papers in the backgrounds. x
