Happy New Year In the City – 2 Cards

Morning everyone

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

Wet, cold and very windy here in the mountains.  Having said that we have been extremely lucky this year with the weather.  Normally the winter duvets come out and the wood burner is lit by the 1st October.

I made today’s cards a while ago but looking at them this morning I thought they may work as Happy New Year cards.

Similar card but a different colour combo

The Happy New Year sentiment has been added digitally for illustration purposes.

Crafty Individuals Stamps used:

Town House Rows CI 271
There are two rows of town houses in this set, I used the larger of the two.

Thank you for looking.

Take care,

Flo x

Mornings no Florence, these are gorgeous, love the stamps and design of your cards.

Superb cityscapes Florence and I love how you’ve coloured them both. The colour palette on the first one reminds me of Liquorice Alsorts 🙂 I’ve just bought the other cityscape fro CI and I’m just enjoying trying different backgrounds with it. Enjoy your Sunday. Happy crafting, Sandra X

That’s what it is Sandra! I was looking at this earlier and thinking what is it and I new it was some kind of candy….liquorice alsorts. Berty Bassetts’ finest! lol! 🙂 Thank you for calling in.

I thought exactly the same thing! Love both colour schemes. I have these stamps, or something similar by Crafty Individual and wanted to use them for Christmas cards, but I can’t find them. So annoying!

Oh my goodness these are gorgeous Florence, the colours are wonderful and your backgrounds too. I agree about the liquorice Allsorts, whereas the second one has a frosty look.
We were minus 1 this morning, but the autumn has been really glorious, Kate x

  5. Gerrina

I like both combinations; they look both cosy!
Here it was misty all day yesterday and today there is no sun at all…a day to getback to my work 🙂 I think….
    Hugs, Gerrina

  6. Pat

These buildings’ roofs look so ornate and pretty and the colours and backgrounds are beautiful Florence. The first does definitely have something of the Liquorice Allsort about it..lol. x
