Underneath the hedgerow – Card Making

Morning everyone

A quick little post to share a card I made recently.

Another quick simple card with some mat and layering.

The little bird image was stamped onto white card, coloured and cut out.
The card was made up as seen using pretty papers and die cuts for the layers.

Crafty Individuals Stamps used:

Sweet Robin Redbreast CI 456
Crafty Individuals  background papers

Thank you for looking

Take care,

Flo x

  1. So beautiful Flo, love the layers and that die cut flower on top. The colours are so pretty, all works together perfectly.

  2. Love the matting and layering Flo. You could almost miss it, but without it the whole card wouldn’t have the same punch as the one you’ve given it.

I adore that little robin – he has such character (and not anything like a Goose – lol), and the die cut of the roses and leaves work so well with the background paper.

    A fabulous make, Flo! ~ Cobs. x

  3. This is gorgeous Florence, I love the background and the robin red breast too.

    1. Thank you Ms paper puff. Don’t look to closely!! lol! Seriously, this is such a great bird to cut out. No fiddly bits at all.

      1. He was one of my purchases a few months back, but I haven’t tried him out yet. I have a feeling he may end up sitting on a leaf after some dodgy scissor work on my part!

        1. Nooooo! I know how fabulous your projects are!! Anyway, No one one puts baby bird on a leaf 🙂 What is really easy, is to stamp him/her on the base and then stamp him/her onto white card and cut off the legs and attach the body over the first stamped image.
          Hugs Flo x

  4. A very lovely card Florence !!
Inspiring too (as all your cards 🙂 all the more as you may find this funny, but I have this rose Sizzix die for ages but never used it yet! 😦
Thanks for the pretty sample with it combined to this fanstactic bird that I love too!
    Hugs again, Coco. xx

  5. The pretty background papers complement that cute bird so beautifully florence, and I love that ornate die cut mat, and the flowers and leaves and ribbon embellishments are gorgeous finishing touches. x
