Vintage Keys of Communication – Card Making

Hi everyone

Yey! It’s Friday.
I hope you all have something nice planned for the weekend.

Here is today’s little card.

flo-langleyvintage-typewriterci-096wmsm2

I just hope there are no naughty words on this book page!  I did spot one and had to digitally remove it for blogging purposes.  Oooops!

I stamped the typewriter image onto white card and cut it out.
The card was then made up as seen using scraps of this and that for the layers.

Crafty Individuals stamps used:

Chunky Vintage Typewriter CI 455.

Thank you for looking

Take care,

Flo x

  2. I feel a bit cheated too… I can see where the word WAS but there is no way to guess WHAT it was!
Still, a beautiful card that manages to be Vintage but in a clean style. xx

  3. I love the sepia tones on this card. I have to admit that it made me smile Flo when I read the bit about you digitally removing words. I started a very arty Autumnal piece earlier in the year by inking and stamping on the page of an old book. I tore around the edges and inked it beautifully before taking a closer look…………oh dear me, the card was consigned to the bin as it wouldn’t have been suitable to be put on show. Lesson learned, I will always read the text now before I start, not when I’ve finished! Your cards are always an inspiration and I really must get that Typewriter stamp out and have another play with it. Have a lovely weekend. Sandra x

  4. Chuck some of that glitter Cobs is hoping for my way too, would you? Otherwise I might have to arm-wrestle her for it. I love this stamp and I love what you have done with it here. Have a lovely weekend! Xx

  5. Oh you spoil sport! You could have made that into a fun game Flo. Hunt the Swear Word, anyone?

LOVE the card but the one thing which stood out for me was … [drumroll] … the ribbon on the top of the tag. I would never have thought to use that particular ribbon (even though I have a roll of it). But it works perfectly! WTG you clever crafting artist!
See this is what makes you brilliant and me walking behind you hoping to get covered in some of the glitter.
    🙂
Sending oodles of love ~ Cobs. x
