Halloween Page

Hi everyone

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

I spent a couple of hours in my craft room yesterday afternoon. Not really doing anything except sticking bits of paper together and splashing paint around.  Aww!  My craft table is such a mess.  Its a good job its a tiled floor and hopefully most of it will come off!!

Anyway I made this piece and thought the colours were a little bit spooky so……

I typed up some scary words and attached them.  I added some bats but completely made a mess of them but I am not bothered as it is just for fun.

That’s about it for today.

If you are celebrating Halloween have fun.

Take care

Flo x

PS  I just want to give Anne Waller Heatherwell Designs Blog a shout out.  I have just spotted some wonderful Halloween makes on her blog.  I have worked with Anne in the past and she is such a talented lady.

  1. I think this is GREAT, Flo! It would be fabulous as a page in a scrapbook or mini album, with a photograph on the opposite page of you and your favourite person, or your love, children or family group, taken on Halloween this year – even if you’re not dressed up or sporting painted faces. Just to mark the day with a reference to the dates ‘celebration’.

I LOVE the background. If Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh had ‘got married and had a baby’, this background would be the result. It’s so ‘them’. Rich, deep and yet with the moonlight peeping through the clouds and giving light to what lies below.

Fabulous make, Flo. I love it …. oh … and love the bats too. They add atmosphere!

  6. Great effects, Florence! I like the colors and design. And I think your bats are fantastic! They fit the ambiance of the whole piece. Have a wonderful Halloween ♥

  7. All those dark, spooky words against the cool background … and those bats … really do create a sense of eerieness, Flo … fab texture and dimension! Hugs, Anita:)
