Valentines Tag – Bird in The Nest

This is the third time of posting this. It keeps disappearing!!  Sorry guys.

Hi everyone

I am a little bit late starting on this blog this year.  I have been busy….. promise! 😉  Just not a lot to show for my efforts at the moment.  A very kind Santa left two new machines for me at Christmas and we have been moving my workshop from outside to inside the house.  I’m not sure it was a good idea. As some of you may know I am a little ocd with cleaning and all of the wood shavings are making me slightly nervous. Hopefully I will have some  quick simple projects to share with you on the other blog soon.

In the meantime,

I am kicking off this years paper crafting with a little Valentines tag.

I cut out a little tag, painted it and added a bit of stenciling and paint splashes.
For the focal pieces I stamped all of the images, coloured them and cut them out.
I stamped the floral image 3 times to create the nest.
The tag was made up as seen using foam pads to attach the pieces.

Crafty Individuals Stamps used:

Sweet Robin Redbreast CI 456
Butterfly Mornings and Wild Flowers Afternoons CI 410  This stamp is new to me and I already love it. Check out the dragonflies and bumble bees!!
Floral Festival XL CI 443 (on the hearts)
That’s Crafty Dinky Stencils “Bubbly All Over”.

I will be back in a moment with another Valentines tag.

Thank you for looking.

Take care,

Flo x

P.S. Do check out Crafty Individuals blog here for some really exciting news.

Thank you Gillian. I posted the one and for some reason it only posted the title. Luckily I had the edits that I could go back to. I think I was too quick in pressing the post button before it had processed it all!! lol!
