Hi everyone.
I hope you are all well and enjoying the first flourishes of Spring time.
This is a really quick post. I have been itching to share some Crafty Individuals’ new releases because they are just fabulous. Not only that, but Jean has just sent out the CI news letter and I spotted that there is a third off the normal price for one week only!!! Seriously, from one stamper to another, do check them out.
I used the new floral spray stamp for this little note book. This stamp has gone straight into my all time top 10 favourite stamps. The stamp image has been designed by the very talented Linda Edwards so you know it is going to work in so many different ways on projects.
This was really quick and easy to make.
For the focal piece, I dabbed some Stormy Sky and Seedless Preserve distress inks onto an acrylic block and spritz the ink with water. I then took a piece of water colour paper and swished it around in the diluted ink. When the ink was dry I stamped the image with embossing ink and embossed the images with white embossing powder. I picked up some of the left over ink, off the acrylic block, with a paint brush and added just a hint of more colour onto the flowers and leaves just to make them stand out.

Thank you for looking.
Take care,
Flo x

I can see why you love the stamp – it is very pretty and versatile too. I love your notebook. Stationery is a weakness of mine and this is a beautiful, covetable (that might not be a real word!!) example!

Flo, I love this notebook cover. The colours used are fabulous and that stamp, ohh was very tempted to buy but our dollar is too low at the moment so will add to my wish list. Looks fantastic white embossed, wonderful little collection of flowers. And just adding the same colours to the flowers really very enjoyable to look at.
Thank you Aileen. After this post went out I noticed Jean Hardy has giveaway on her blog here
