Delightful Daisies Card

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well and had a great weekend.

I had planned to fire up the machines last week.  I had an urge to work with some wood.  All good plans…..  I was sorting through some boxes looking for some bits and pieces, not heavy at all, and some how managed to pull most of the muscles in my back.  Seriously painful. I was so afraid to even sneeze. However, feeling much better yesterday, but not really up to doing too much, I had a play with some stamps and made a set of cards.

Here is the first one.

I stamped the flowers onto coated card stock using Distress Inks.
The background Vintage Ads text was stamped onto water colour paper using Archival Ink and then coloured with Distress Inks.
I mat and layered all of the elements and the card was made up as seen.
Just to share, The *Vintage Ads stamp is brilliant for making background papers. It’s a large stamp and matches up great so you can make any size background paper you like for cards, journals and scrapbooking.  Love it!

Crafty Individuals stamps and products used:

*Vintage Ads CI 461
Delightful Daisies CI 262
CI Background Papers Book 5 Echos of Italy
Distress  and Archival Inks

Thank you for looking

Take care,

Flo x

  7. Oh Flo, you poor thing! I completely sympathise as I was put out of action when my back went last year lifting boxes at work, but still never had a day off (stupid me! took longer to heal). I wish you a real speedy recovery, but on the bright side we get to see more of your wonderful work, always a bonus 🙂 x
