You are a Star – card making

Hi everyone

Thank you everyone for your comments and wishes on my last post. You are all so very kind.

I hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend.  My darling man took me away for a few days for our anniversary.  All very nice despite a couple of traumas but now back to normal and loads of washing!

Today, I would like to share a card made I made a while ago which never made it onto the blog.  Well, I hope it didn’t.  I can’t see it anywhere 🙂

Really quick and easy.
I stamped the text image with black Staz-on and then coloured the coated card stock with Distress Inks. I punched a circle out of the card and mat and layered all of the pieces as seen and then added the plastic star embellishment with glue.

Crafty Individuals stamp 96mm x 137mm (nice big stamp) You Are A Star CI 468

Just to share some news from Crafty Individuals.
Save the date – On Tuesday the 9th May Jean Hardy is demonstrating Crafty Individuals stamps on Hochanda TV.  Jean is on the show with Lesley Wharton.  The stamps being demonstrated are sea side themed.  Fabulous stamps and lots of lovely samples and inspiration.  Definitely worth watching.

Also, just to share, if you haven’t seen the CI news letter, there are some new stamp being released very soon so keep an eye out for those…..all very exciting.

That’s it from me for this blog but I have got a couple of shabby chic’ish projects going out on my craft blog over the next week.  I am so behind in more ways than one!!  If, you would like a sneak peek of those, they are on the Crafty Individuals blog HERE  together with some gorgeous makes from Coco and Sylvie.

I need a cuppa now after all that chatting.

Take care everyone

  2. Good to hear you had a happy anniversary. Love this card, the sentiment stamp is wonderful with those soft watercolours and very eye catching with the die cut circle and star in it.
