Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses – Red and White

Hi everyone

I hope you are all had a great weekend.

I am starting off the week with a little card made using again the Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses rubber stamp from Crafty Individuals.
In my last post I mentioned about adding a little sun hat to this little cutie.

This really is one of the most versatile stamps sets I have in my stash.

This was a really quick and easy card to make. The colours and the design came from the idea of the child wearing a red and white polka dot hat.

I stamped the image and the sentiment onto white coated card stock using red Archival Ink.
I masked the image and plashed some red diluted Distress Inks onto the base card to break up the background a little.
I stamped the kites and the wording onto white card stock and cut them out.
I used a couple of dies to cut out the circles for the hat.
The card was made up as seen using foam tabs to attach the embellishments.

Stamps used:

Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses CI 459 (Child and cut out words)
By The Sea CI 454  (Kites)
Beside The Seaside CI 278  (“May you always have a shell in your pocket”)

That’s all for now but I will be back soon using these very same stamps but creating a completely different look. I have had so much fun using these stamps! 🙂

Thank you for looking

Take care,

Flo x

The stamp (or any stamps for that matter) is versatile because this stamper has a good imagination! I sometimes have such clever ideas but these times are few and far between! I love the hat and I love the monochrome stunning design.

Beautiful card Florence and the words really do evoke childhood memories of the seaside 🙂 it looks great stamped in red. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Aw Flo!! I absolutely love this one. It’s all so perfect. The colours, the paper patters, and those Kites are an inspired idea! … just everything about it is perfect.

This is one I’d buy from a shop/craft event etc. It’s wonderful.
    Sending love ~ Cobs. x
