Nautical Splash – Card Making

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well and life is treating you kindly.

Apologies for not being around much in the last couple of weeks. A few things going on at the moment but they seem to be settling down now.  The computer is still playing up but I can’t really do much about it. It seems to be mainly social sites that are taking ages to load including this blog.  I will be visiting and catching up as soon as I can.

Here is today’s little card.

A really quick and easy card to make.

I coloured a piece of 350gm water colour paper with diluted distress inks and then stamped the images using Black and Turquoise permanent ink.
I took some of the colour out, from the light house, using a damp paint brush.
The card was then made up as seen adding the little number embellishment.

Crafty Individuals Stamps used:
Grace Darlings Lighthouse CI 384
Call of the Sea CI 397
Distress Inks

Thank you for looking.

Take care,

Flo x

  2. That background looks so good!! Fits beautiful with these stamps and the raised birds and numbers give it so much movement! Great card! Hugs, Gerrina

  3. In contrast to your last card which had a very delicate feel, this one packs a punch with it’s beautiful and vibrant Seaside colours. Everything on here works together so beautifully, I can almost smell the sea air. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
