Hi everyone
Thank you to everyone for your comments on my last post.
I had a fun time yesterday morning. I got up around 3.30 a.m and everything was quite, internet connection wise, so I took the opportunity to visit some of my blogging friends.
I read your posts, I laughed with you, I cried, was amazed, inspired and entertained.
You know who you are…. thank you all.
This is today’s little card again using the Discovery stamp.
I had so much fun making this card. I assembled all of my stamped elements and scrap paper pieces, keeping to a red, white and blue theme and then just collaged them up as seen.
Just to share: The * Ship and Navigation Elements stamp set is brilliant for making your own background papers and embellishments.
As I was typing up this post, I had a sudden blast from the past remembering how to Celestial Navigate. I even have a certificate somewhere to prove it. lol! It was only a basic course I might add and all I can say now, is …… thank goodness for GPS!

Just Wow! 🙂
Eyes Right, C’tain aboard! Love all those layers, great make. Up at 3.30am? Surprised you managed to keep your eyes open, let alone make a beautiful card! 🙂 x
I did wonder why your visits were so early in the day… now it all makes sense.
I liked the blue version and I like this one too. It’s all down to composition and having the right paper in the right place. It would take me hours of toil… xx
Somehow red & Blue & white are boatcolours to me (and not flagcolours…) You show here that they are in a beautiful way! Hope you have some sunshine today aswel! Hugs, Gerrina
I love all of the shapes, textures and patterns, artfully arranged in red, white and blue. Looks like summer, for sure!
Great combo colors!!!!! Love your card Flo!!!! Hugs
