Vintage Lighthouse Themed Tag

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend.
Thank you to everyone for your comments and kind words on my last post.

Here is today’s little vintage style tag. This is the third in a set of tags I made recently. The other tags can be seen Here and Here.  Alternatively, please scroll down the home page and you can see the thumb nail images and can click on them to see the respective posts.

This tag was made in the same way as the other tag.
The base of the tag is water colour paper 350 gm and it was coloured with diluted Distress Inks and then stamped over.
For the circle topper layer, I used lemon juice to colour the edges.
I mixed and match two different lighthouse stamps and masked the stamps with paper before inking them to use different parts/elements of the two stamps for a different look.  I wanted to use the land off the one stamp but wanted to combine it with the taller, thinner light house off the other stamp.  I thought this suited the tall tag shape better.  Full details of the stamps used are below.

Crafty Individuals stamps and products used:

Grace Darling’s Light House CI 384 (using the land image only)
Call Of The Sea CI 397  (the taller, thinner light house and for the numbers and script)
One image from Life’s Journey 1 – A4 sheet of glossy images. Love these.
Brown Archival Ink
Distress Inks

Thank you for looking.
Take care,

Flo x
