Hi everyone,
I hope your weekend is going well.
A quick little post to share another Christmas card. It was made for Christmas but it could be for any occasion really.
The paint swirls were made using an old bottle cork.
The base of the embellishment is a scrap piece of packing board cut out using a die. It was then painted, edge embossed and stamped onto. I wish I had painted it lighter! I was trying to get it to match with the papers.
Crafty Individuals stamps used:
Festively Curly Words CI 446
Jingle Bells Roof Tops CI 254 (using just the stars)
Stampendous Chunky Frantage Embossing Enamel
Versa Magic Dew Drops Pink
Archival Ink Potting Soil
Warning 🙂 Christmas projects will be coming thick and fast on the blogs for the next week or so.
I made quite a few samples recently so I would like to get them posted as quick as I can. I have also been on the annual Wimbledon holiday (at home) for the past 2 weeks and not made anything else to share!! lol!
Apologies to those who are not into Christmas in the summer.
To those who like to start their Christmas projects early I hope you like them.
Thank you for looking
Have a wonderfully creative weekend

Good point our Pippa. It could be easily mass produced for Christmas especially when you have to make lots of cards. Thank you. Always lovely to hear from you.

Good day, Flo! I “adore” your card. I think the color of the plaque works beautifully with the rest of the card. I can see how in your own mind’s eye, you might see it as lighter with the background, but it works lovely just the way it is. I also like the ribbon style adornment as well as the paint swirls…and the stars add that perfect touch bringing out the rose color in the ribbons. Thank you for sharing and everyone needs some time off, even from things they love to do. I hope you enjoyed your relaxation time, and I’m looking forward to more cards.

I thought your sentiment was stamped on wood! Which made it the right colour… Wonderful Florence. I am watching the Hochanda shows and admiring your artwork as we speak…

Glad that your card looks so fresh! It is better like that when it is warm 🙂 Love the CAS-style that you used!
Hope the rain has arrived at your place; the warm temp is here, just the sun is still behind the clouds… Hope your weekend is a good one! Hugs, Gerrina

This is just gorgeous Flo, and I love how you made your little tag ‘Adore’!!! A perfect embellishment, needs not many stamps in addition I see, just a lovely background like the one you did, perfect.
Well, I also enjoyed watching the CI shows!!! Fabulous samples by you, Jean, Sandra, Sylvie and everyone from the team. This was so exciting to discover all our makes, so different but beautiful, at the same time! Hope you have had a great weekend Florence.
