You Are A Star – Card

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well and enjoying the last of the summer weather.
Autumn will soon be here! Cosy nights by the fire and comfort food!!

A really quick card today using another of the new stamps from Crafty Individuals.  I was going for red white and blue but it turned out a little bit more orange than red.  I thought this card would be nice for celebrations, congratulations or even just a motivational card. Ooo! just a thought it may even work for Valentines.

I threaded the string through the button and then attached the button with some gel medium.

I coloured a piece of water colour 300gm paper with diluted Distress Inks (Barn Door and Denim) and then stamped the image using blue Archival Ink.

Just to share, this really is a great stamp. It stamps brilliantly using paint which is always a sign of good stamp. Great for cards, background, memory albums, or journaling.

Crafty Individuals Stamps used:

Seeing Stars CI 479 (96mm x 137 mm)
You Are A Star CI 468 (96mm x 137 mm)

Thank you for looking.

Have a wonderful creative weekend.

Take care,

Flo x

It truly is a nice card. The star stamp is delightfully fun and I like the use of the button. I love buttons and it reminds me that I need to replenish my stash. It’s little cooler here today because of the storm in the gulf of Mexico, but may Harvey shut its roar and weaken – Amen!!! I am looking forward to Autumn! Enjoy a lovely day, Florence. xoxo

Autumn and cool nights are NOT on my wish list… Of course the temperature doesn’t get very hot often over here!!! Great design for male cards and teens methinks, and the orange/blue combo is the perfect contrast so it turned out for the best!
