Morning everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
Thank you for your lovely comments and kind words on my last post.
Today’s little project is a tag made with the new Pictorial Invoice Stamp from Crafty Individuals.
Really quick and easy this one.
I coloured the tag base (350gm water colour paper) with diluted Distress Oxides. I then inked up part of the Pictorial Invoice stamp, using permanent black ink and stamped it onto the tag.Β I wanted the stamping to go to the edges in the top and bottom corners so I used individual postmark stamps to add to the pattern.Β To finish off IΒ added a little bit more colour here and there to the stamped images.
Crafty Individuals Stamps Used:
Pictorial Invoice CI 480
Four Postage Marks CI 124
Postmark Sentiments CI 308
Ranger Distress Oxide Ink Pads.
Thank you for looking.
Take care,
Flo x

Beautiful as always Flo! I only have the normal distress inks, what do you think of the distress oxides? Don’t know if I want to buy or not as I love my normal distress inks and their vibrant colours x
Thank you Kim. I saw this comment come in and have been thinking about it since yesterday. The Oxides do do what they say they do. The colours are not as vibrant as the Distress Inks. They are nice though. Not so keen on the peeled paint but love the peeled paint Distress ink. I have only used them spritzed with water (need more time to play with them) and they are very creamy. You don’t need a lot of ink so that is one to watch out for unless you are doing batches. I have combined the two types on a project, which is being posted this morning and I was quite pleased that I could use them both together. I have seen people stamping with them but have not tried it myself although I stamp a lot with Distress inks. Taking the colour out is a little bit harder than with Distress Inks. They are lovely to use. Like a thin paint. Nice coverage. I am always cautious about recommending something especially if there is a lot of hype about it until I have used it a lot. I hope this helps.

Thanks Flo. I have and use my distress inks quite often and think it’s a lot of money to invest in new when I already have them. So thank you for your time in considering my question but will stick to my usual at the moment x
Kim, I forgot to say that they do cover coloured and darker coloured card. I suppose one of the main differences is that one translucent and one is slightly opaque. I am not 100% convinced about the so called “oxidized effect” yet.

I did watch Tim Holtz at the CHA on You Tube using them but seriously didn’t think they were that different and although you can use on dark paper, don’t think it’s worth paying all that money when I’m perfectly happy with what I have. Thanks Flo x
Your welcome Kim xx
Absolutely gorgeous Florence, fabulous stamping and colouring, such a lot of interest for something so small, Kate x
Thank you Kate. Have a wonderful time away.

The colors are so vibrant. I love the invoice stamp. It just adds to the already prettiness of the tag.

The colours are so great on this one! Love how you highlighted the images by just adding a bit more colour; so subtile and vibrant at the same time! Hope you have a fun week planned! Hugs, Gerrina
Thank you Gerrina. Had a busy weekend but nothing to show for it!! Isn’t that the way some times. Hope you had a good one.

These Oxide colours are very pretty Flo and this collage stamp works well here. I think the Oxides do things that the DI’s don’t and it would perhaps be good to have a few, but have decided to perhaps buy Oxides only in colours I do not already have in the DI’s as I don’t have a lot of storage space. I hope at some time in the future they will be available in the smaller size. x
Thank you Pat. Yes, it is a shame they don’t do them in a smaller size. I have still yet to find their hidden magical powers!! π
Have a great weekend.
