Hi everyone,
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments on my last post. You are all so very kind.
Here is today’s little project. Apologies for the photo.
For this card, I coloured a piece of water colour paper with spray inks. I then took a mop brush and water and created the circles for the flower heads. I then inked up just the head of the flower and stamped them into the circles created. Using just the stem of the flower, I spritzed the stamp with water and stamped the image below the flower heads. I took the holly leaf stamp, spritzed it with water and stamped into the ink along the bottom edge of the card. To finish off I added a few black inky splashes at the top.

Absolutely gorgeous Florence, beautifully designed and coloured, I love the bright bold shades and it’s such a wonderful floral image.
I’m waiting for this stamp to arrive, I already had the other gorgeous stamps but it was fantastic to see all the DT samples for ways to use them, thank for your inspiration, Kate x
Thank you so much Kate. You will love this stamp set. I had a play with it over a couple of weeks. There is so much you can do with it. I really like these big seed heads. The DT samples were amazing. It is nice to see all of the samples made up. So many different ideas and styles.

The flowers look so great! It looks like you had so much fun just playing with water and ink…sometimes that is all you need to get in a great mood 🙂 Hugs, Gerrina
Thank you Gerrina. It was a lot of fun. It is nice to just have a play and see what happens 🙂
Have a great weekend.

Aw Flo this is AMAZING! I love the result, it’s so artful and clever looking.
You are such a whizz at this arty stuff. I’m filled with wishes that we lived closer so that we could play together.
Perhaps you should move back to Jolly Ol’ England … down south … near to me …. there’s a house nearby which is up for sale … 5 beds. That would give you a craftroom! 😀
Just sayin’.
Sending squidges ~ Cobs. xxx
Thank you Cobs. It would be lovely to craft together. The house sounds very nice but if it is more than £2.50p I can’t afford it! 🙂 Although I could stretch it a bit and make it £2.75p
By the way I hope you got my email.
Hugs Flo xx
Too late! It’s sold.
It was a tad over your budget but only by around couple of hundred and fifty thousand thousand so you might have had to break open the piggy bank.
Yup … got the email … and have already replied.
Yes, I’d love us to go to New York together to do all the craft shops. When? How much? I’ll be there, even if I have to live off the adverts for a month or two.
Erm… that was what you meant, wasn’t it?
(Even if you didn’t, it sounds good to me so …. lol).
😆 Cobs xxxx
LOL! crazy girl! Yep, that’s exactly what I meant………………………

P.S. Do bear in mind I only leave the mountain 4 times a year 😉
Aw, I need to get you some free ‘Leave the Mountain’ passes. I’ll make some on my computer. No one will ever notice that they’re not the real ones. I’ll make sure they look good. 😉
Squidges ~ Cobs. xxx 😊
That is very kind of you Sweetie and I am sure the passes will look like the real ones. Especially with your creative talents. Squidges back at ya! xx
P.s. You do know I only leave the mountain 4 times in a year out of choice!!!! lol! 😉
We’re going to have to set up some sort of cafe come arty and crafty place at the foot of that mountain. We’ll make it big enough for a few of us to squeeze in and have a little fun.
Ok … this is my ‘Best Idea of the Day’. I think I’ve peaked. Nothing better is going to happen today. (lol) ~ C. xxx
LOL! But why are you trying to get me off the mountain? We can use my dining room. The tables are already there! Mind you may need to replace them. Not sure about ink and paint going on them and all the refreshments can be in the kitchen next door. Sorted! Well I hope you have something better to do today! lol!
Hugs Flo xx
Put the kettle on. I’ll be right there. 😀 lol
Kettle on and apple strudel in the oven just waiting! lol!

So colourful! And painterly too… clever stuff, Florence!
Thank you so much Christine.

Love this card, a beautiful watery effect with the inks and such vibrant colours too.
What a vibrant beauty, Flo … love how you’ve done those flower heads … the delicious colours positively glow against the crisp white framing … actually it looks as though it should be in a frame hanging in a gallery! Bon weekend! Hugs, Anita 🙂
