With many a flirt and flutter….

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and have had a great summer.

I am supposed to be finishing off sorting out my craft room. Seriously, it is worse now than when we moved. However, I now have a table after many months.  I have been using the kitchen table and you know what that is like!!!!  You craft away and then have to pack up and just dump it all somewhere else. After several times of doing this you can’t find anything at all and surround by a mountain of……..  All good fun.

Today, I would like to share a couple of cards made using one of the new Crafty Individuals stamps – The Raven CI 501. The image itself is a design by a talented artist called Maria Kitano.

Similar card just changing the colours up.

These where quick cards: coloured and stencilled background with the images stamped with black Memento ink.

I am really excited about these stamps.  I think they really lend themselves to journaling and mixed media projects and not just cards.  I want to have more of a play with them over the next couple of weeks. Especially as I now have ink!!! Can you believe I actually ran out of Staz-on and Archival ink last week.

That’s all for today. Off back to the cave!

Take care,

Flo x

They really are fabulous stamps aren’t they Flo and I really like how you’ve used them here, especially the second one where you’ve used the elements stamps with them. I’m sure it will be lovely for you to get your craft room all sorted. Happy crafting, Sandra x

    I’m with you…this is a great stamp!
Love how you used it both times; warm and perfect as focalpoint!
Great that you can move away from the kitchentable; that doesn’t work in the long run…. Big hugs, Gerrina

Hi Flo, It’s only me again. I’m sorry that I can’t find your email address, so I’m happy for you to delete this comment once you’ve read it. I’ve tried several times to add your blog to my list of favourite blogs on the right hand side of my blog but each time I try, the photo of what you’ve posted appears about ten times the size of all the others and it distorts the page layout. I just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem or if it’s just my blog? Please let me know if you have any solutions for me to rectify this as I would really like to add your blog onto my favourites. Hugs, Sandra x

Hi Sandra, Thank you for trying. You are so kind. I am not sure why it happens. It’s not just you. Other blogging friends have had the same problem and taken it off.
      Take care, hugs, Flo xx

They are lovely stamps, I hope there will be other themes in this style though as Halloween isn’t my thing.

  7. Kim Styles Cards

So glad you are going to get your craft room back, felt lost without mine! Cards are great and love the backgrounds which make the raven stand out so well. Have a great week and hope you manage to get things ship shape again 🙂 x

I’ve just found these fabulous cards too Flo and love the stencilling in the background. Glad you seem to have a space now for your crafting. I permanently use the dining table but the supplies stay out and we eat on trays on our laps…lol. x
