Hi everyone,
I hope you have had a nice weekend. I wonder what this week will bring. For me, hopefully some wall paper paste. I wanted to start some papier mache projects for Christmas. I have left it a little bit late but hopefully there will be enough time. I made a long list of projects that I wanted to have a go at. I thought about it until my head hurt and now I don’t know where to start!! lol! What’s everyone making this week? Have you got any projects on the go? Are you getting ready for the big event?
Here is a little card I made recently for Crafty Individuals using one of their classic stamps which I absolutely love.
Crafty Individuals Stamp: “Elegant Peacock” CI 310
The image was stamped onto white coated card stock and coloured with distress inks. I then just mat and layered using some pretty papers.
This is just one of the stamps being featured on the Crafty Individuals shows on Hochanda tv today the 3rd December at 12.00 noon and 4 p.m. Jean Hardy from Crafty Individuals will be working her magic and demonstrating. Do look out for the beautiful new CI Christmas Stamps and the fabulous new CI printed fabric panels. They are looooovely! If you want a sneak peak, I used one of the panels on a lavender bag which can be seen HERE,
Thank you for looking.
Have a wonderful week.

Hi Flo, absolutely gorgeous card, it’s a new one to me. Beautifully coloured and pretty papers too.
Only Alistair’s card to and one for my son and his partner to make. These are usually almost last minute as I can never make my mind up on design. Off down to Glasgow on Thursday to meet up with a crafting/blogging friend Rita. It’ll be a very long day spending around 7 hours on the bus, my knitting goes with me,worth the journey though. Have a lovely week yourself,Kate x x

Thank you so much Kate. Yep, This stamp is an older one in the range. It’s one of those that goes unnoticed I think. It is a beautiful image. I am looking forward to seeing your cards. Have a lovely time with Rita. What fun! No doubt there will be lots of chatting and catching up when you get together. Safe travels on the buz. Hugs Flo xx

Truly elegant, Flo! The colors you used to enhance the lovely stamp give it beautiful life – soft and calming, too. I also like the floral background you chose, which goes perfectly with the stamped design. And I like the message on the side – quite true. A friend asked if I would decorate a mason jar for her with a Christmas theme. I have two more prepared jars I did back in May, and she loved the autumn one I did for her. So, that’s my next project. I will post it when it’s complete. Thank you for sharing your creative lovelies with us. I always look forward to seeing them. Have a beautiful day, my friend.
Blessings,

Lovely card, Flo! It reminds me of Vintage Eastern inspired textiles.
I’m trying to get myself in gear, crafting wise, as I seem to be suffering of a lack of mojo… good thing I have already made most of my December DT projects!

Thank you Christine. Yes! it does. It also reminds me of those black very lacquered antiques. You know sometimes when you are busy making DT projects and you are so focused on what you are doing it is hard to get going again on other projects. I flop after a session and it takes a good couple of weeks to get going again. And then its time to start again!! lol! Hope your mojo comes back soon. Hugs, Flo xx

This is a really pretty stamp Flo, it reminds me of those very expensive wallpapers that you see. Your colouring here is exceptional and you really can see every detail on the Peacock, it’s beautiful. This week, I’m finishing off a light box that I’m making for my Granddaughter and giving my craft room the much needed tidy up that it deserves 🙂 Enjoy whatever the week has in store x

Hi Sandra, Yes, the stamp image does look like that. Its one of those classic images isn’t it. The light box sounds interesting. Is it for taking photos or is it one for say, transfering images? I am sure your granddaughter will be pleased with it. Oh, good luck with tidying up your craft room!!!! lol! Have a great week. Hugs, Flo xx
