Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday!
Before I start this post, I know a few of my blogging friends are struggling at the moment with various things going on in their lives. You know who you are. Know that I am thinking of you and sending you oodles of hugs.
Things have been a bit busy in the craft room over the last couple of weeks hence my sporadic blogging… Well that’s nothing new to be honest is it! 🙂 I have now finished my CI samples for their next show but I can’t share anything for a couple of weeks. However, I have been looking through some old photos of samples I made. These go back to 2017. I’m not sure why they didn’t make it on the blog. I probably didn’t like them!! ha ha! Anyway, they are going to appear over the next few weeks.
Those of you who follow my blogs will be able to tell where this was taken because of all of the shadows. Apologies for those. That’s probably why I never posted this photo actually.
A really quick and easy card. I thought it would be nice for Valentines. That’s not that far away is it.
I stamped the image onto coated card stock using distress inks and used dies to cut out the heart shapes.
Stamps used: Crafty Individuals (Linda Edwards Design) Floral Festival XL CI 443.
That’s all from me.
Take care,
Flo x
It’s a gorgeous card mate! Sending hugs right back at you!

Good day, sweet Flo! oodles of hugs back to you. Your card is so pretty and perfect for Valentine’s Day; that perfect day of Love for all. (It’s my birthday, too, so I never forget it 😉 ). I love the way you graduated the colors in the floral background stamp. Things are falling into place here. I hope you have a delightful afternoon. Sending warm thoughts and prayers your way. Think of me at teatime. xox
Thank you Marianne. I can’t tell you how pleased I am for you. Take care, Hugs Flo xx
Thank you for your very kind words Flo and all hugs are gratefully accepted. Your card is really pretty and I like the way that the die cut heart still allows that beautifully stamped background to shine. I’ve finished my samples too and I’m looking forward to seeing what gorgeous creations you’ve made this time around. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
Thank you Sandra. Hoping that mojo has found its way back home. Looking forward to seeing your samples as well. That’s the fun part. Hugs Flo xx
Looks beautiful and so fresh and sunny! Here a gray day, but the snow is still there, so the light is good today… Hope all is well with you! Hugs, Gerrina
Thank you Gerrina. This was taken a while ago when I was still in Spain hence the sun shine. Warmer in the UK than in the mountains this winter! However, there is snow forecast for tomorrow! Hugs Flo xx
Great design to showcase a background stamp! I am curious to see the new stamps… Enjoy your weekend, xx
Thank you Christine. The new stamps are lovely!! I know I say that every time but they really are. Hugs Flo xx
I really like the simplicity of this one Flo. The outlines of the flowers with all the white contrast with red heart and make it lighter feeling.
