Floral Card – Pastel Favourites

Hi everyone,

This week is passing by quickly isn’t it! I haven’t posted as much as I have done this week for years. To be honest, I make up samples and some times, due to volume and time, I don’t take any photos but this means I never have anything to put on my blog and by the time I make anything else, it’s time for more samples. I was determined, with these recent samples, that I would take as many photos as I could.

Thank you everyone for your visits, lovely comments and kind words left on my recent posts. Your support and encouragement is very much appreciated.

This project was made for the recent Crafty Individuals show on Hochanda but it is an old stamp.

In real life the colours of this card are a more subtle and softer. The fancy die cut around the main image is made from silver metalic card.

To make this card I stamped the image with some distress inks onto white coated card stock, cut to size and spray fixed to give it a nice glossy finish.

I coloured some white card with Distress Inks to match the background papers and used some dies to cut out the flowers and leaves.

I mat and layered the card as seen using another die cut behind the main stamped image.

I used a score board to make the box. I cut the piece of card to size and scored it. I then attached the pretty paper to the card. I folded the card along the score lines and glued it together.

Thank you for looking.

  1. Another beauty Flo and I’m pleased that you took some photos as it’s lovely to see what you’ve made. This is another pretty one and the die cut frame works perfectly with this lovely stamp and the flowers look lovely too x
