Rustic Relish

Morning everyone,

Loving these lighter mornings. The good weather seems to have stayed with us this week. Isn’t funny how a bit of nice weather gets you motivated. I managed to get a lot of jobs done this week. Normally, I pat myself on the back if I have emptied the dishwasher!!! 🙂

A quick little post today to share another of the samples I made recently.  I went with  a rustic feel to this one using the pretty papers as a guide for the colour pallet.

Pretty straight forward. The bird was stamped using different colours of Archival Ink onto coated card stock. I used distress inks to colour some water colour paper and used dies to cut out the flower and leaves. All of the pieces were mat and layered as seen to finish the card. Oh, I used some gel medium to add the beads to the center of the flower.

I popped on a Happy Easter sentiment but without this I think it would cover lots of different occasions.
