Morning everyone,
A quick little post today to share another card made using one of the superduper new stamps from Crafty Individuals. All of the new stamps can be seen on the Hochanda TV channel today 1st April at 11 a.m and at 4 p.m.
Image stamped with Black Staz-On and coloured with diluted inks.
Really quick and easy card. I stamped the hare, masked him off and then stamped the flowers. I then removed the mask and added colour. I added some white dots in the sky and mat and layered using Crafty Individuals pretty papers Book 8 Weekend in Seville.
Thank you for looking.
Take care,
Flo x
Another beautiful creation, loving the hare.

Thank you Linda. The hare is really, really popular. I love it but I really can’t choose a favourite between this new set. But thats a good thing 🙂 Hugs Flo xx
Another beautiful card Flo. I love this Hare to bits and have just used it to make three Easter cards for my Grandchildren x
Hi Sandra. Thank you so much. Its one of those stamps that until you start using it, you don’t realise the possibilities. Love the idea for Easter. Cards and decorations and all sorts of things spring to mind. Wonderful! 🙂 Hugs Flo xx
Beautiful card, Flo! I love the hare but I’m not so keen on that moon on top of his head, almost like an astronaut helmet, plus it makes it difficult to stamp the hare in a different colour to the moon.
Thank you Christine 🙂 I always enjoy reading your comments and am always grateful for them. I am very honest with what I say on the blog and in my comments. I do truly love the hare stamp but I do understand your comments about the moon. I did find it a little bit more difficult to incorporate the moon into scenes because it is very low down near the Hare’s head. One of my own thoughts about this, when I was using this stamp, was to slice off the moon with a sharp blade. It is possible to do that, without spoiling the integrity of the hare. Like I say I did have a look at it. However, I decided to leave it because it is equally easy to mask off the moon and just ink up the hare for stamping. These stamps do have great cut off lines within the designs so it easy to cut around the hare for decoupaging. In answer to your other comment about stamping different colours. Yes, you are absolutely right. This is a common problem with a lot of stamps, whatever brand, in my humble opinion and can be frustrating. However, if you have a stamping platform you could achieve different colours for the hare and the moon by using masks. Ie., mask off the hare and stamp the moon in one colour. remove the mask from the hare and mask off the moon and ink up the hare in another colour. I use this technique a lot. It is especially helpful when using bold stamps. https://florencelangley.com/2018/10/27/oriental-flutters/ The photos in this post explains it a little better than I can in words.

Great that you used a bit darker colours, but the same as on the backgroundpaper. Love the scene!! Hugs, Gerrina
Thank you so much Gerrina. I have been trying lately to match the colours to the background papers. So pleased you like it. Hugs Flo xx
Looks very much like an illustration for an insightful children’s story. I love the colors and the white dots for the stars. Well done, my friend. xo
