Majestic Kingfisher

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all have a great week.  Thank you everyone for your lovely comments and kind words.  I’ve been trying to get some jobs done over the last few days in time for visitors arriving so I do apologise for the lateness in replying to all of them. I will get there I promise.

Oh, the hale has started again. I heard it before I saw it!! Sorry, a slight digression there.

Here is todays card and you have guessed it, it was created with another of the new Crafty Individuals Stamps.

A straightforward card to make really. I stamped the Kingfisher onto coated card stock using Black Staz-On, masked him off and then stamped the background using Distress Inks. I then coloured the kingfisher with diluted distress inks and sprayed the topper with a fixative. The card was then layered up as seen.

Well that is all from me. Off for a cuppa before I start on the kitchen 🙂

Thank you for looking.

Flo x

  1. Absolutely gorgeous Flo, I love it done in blue and the background works so well.
Our weather has been awful, rain/sleet during the night and most of today, just perfect for crafting.
I’m eagerly awaiting these stamps coming on the CI website, I very rarely buy from Hochanda as the postage is horrendous, have a love time with your friends, Kate x

    1. Thank you much Kate. That’s the thing about bad weather, you don’t feel guilty about staying in and crafting! 🙂 I would wait for them to come up on the website too. I will let you know when I see them come on the website but I think you will probably see it on Jeans blog anyway. Kate, they really are lovely stamps.

    1. Thank you Linda. Lovely to hear from you. Hope all is well. I haven’t seen a Kingfisher since I was a teenager. I lived in Shropshire and we had a lot of canals nearby. They are just magical to watch.
